The Growing Need

We are now providing over 1,000 boxes of food a month to families in need through our locations in Cabot and Lyndonville.  This is a 25% increase in one year.

Rising food prices has led to an unprecedented increase in demand for our services.  We’ve had over 80 new families sign up for our Food Share programs in just the past two months.  Many of them are large families who have never needed our help before now.

PLEASE CONSIDER DONATING TO US TODAY TO SUPPORT OUR ONGOING WORK.

THANK YOU!

Rising to the Challenge

"I have loved working with Neighbors in Action!  They have amazing volunteers and staff who really care about their community and providing fresh, quality food for those who are struggling to meet needs.”

- Jess Simpson of Wilder Farm, Lyndonville

This increased demand means more volunteer resources are needed to procure and process food, with larger deliveries and more to unload, and re-package for distribution.

Fortunately, our food share coordinators are skilled at diversifying our sources relying upon a network of partnerships with local businesses and farms and working together for our mutual benefit and sustainability.

Thanks to your previous support, we are prepared today to meet the new challenges because you’ve enabled us to cultivate strong community networks, develop a crew of experienced volunteers and acquire a permanent home in Cabot from which to deliver our services.

THANK YOU!
